1993 XL 1200 I bought in 2003 with no front wheel and damaged forks. I bought a triple tree with spoke wheel circa 2000 and in stalled it. It sat in my garage until 2018. I had it painted, refurbished, rebuilt at Picasso Autobody in Delmont, PA.

In ‘93 the speedometer was powered by a pickup on the front wheel. In ‘00 the speedometer was powered directly from the transmission. To remedy this I installed a GPS speedometer like those in jet skis, ATV’s etc. the title I received indicated 5,880 miles and I have only ridden enough to add another few hundred miles. Can’t document that so I list the mileage as unknown. This site required a number so I’m saying 7000.

I ditched the drag pipes for a very nice original equipment exhaust system. Not a fan of loud bikes.

It’s a great bike I’m sure someone will enjoy it but I’m gettin’ too old to ride. I’m selling to regain the space in my garage and avoid taxes and insurance.
