A Rare 2006 Heritage "Springer" Softail. "One of the 10 best used Harleys to buy and Worth Every Penney" according to an article I read last summer. I don't know about all of the newer Harley engines, because up until 2008 all I rode were EL & FL 1950's Pan Heads. Yes, they were all hard tails! Which probably helps explain my back problems and a few loose marbles. Back to the Heritage. I believe it has an 88 CID engine with only 17,800 miles and a five speed transmission. The last year for both, but I could be wrong about the engine size. There are a few cosmetic changes, but otherwise it is stock. Nevertheless, it still retains that old 40's & 50's styling. Starting with the original chrome Springer front end.

Individual features include; spoke wheels, smooth rims, white wall tires, old style beach handle bars, driver & passenger floor boards, mirrors and derby cover have matching flame emblems, dual "Fishtail" pipes, removeable backrest and removable real thick brown leather saddle bags.

I've owned this bike since 2008 and I searched the internet for this style Heritage for almost 2 years until I found this one in Florida, and I drove it home. I added the white walls and the back rest. I painted it with a two tone - burnt orange and brown. It was originally Black Cherry.

I've never crashed it, but it has fallen over on me twice while I was walking it backwards down my inclined driveway. Fortunately, it wasn't hot.
