Several small modifications were done on this bike. The handlebars were changed and offer the rider a better grip on the road and feel from the front suspension. The forward controls have received an extension package, bringing them further forward, making it really comfortable for taller riders. Passenger seat was added for your significant other to enjoy this bike with you. Still has the original stock pipes. Tires are original so they technically aged out but show no signs of decay.

We have sold this bike in 2020 with 180 miles on the odometer. The previous owner was from South Carolina and only enjoyed the bike on two rides then got busy with work. This last owner enjoyed the bike a little more for 5 years but also only put 2700 miles on her. Garage kept all its life this bike is nearly flawless. An absolute gem to own and ride. Finished in smoke black. We do have a used (almost new) set of black saddlebags for Scout that you can acquire for $600 extra.

During WWII the company was an essential supplier of motorcycles to the US military and after the war struggled in making the transition back to the civilian market. Their operation came to an end in the early 50s. The company was bought by Polaris in 2011, who just a few years earlier started the very successful “Victory” brand.
